Q: I moisturize my skin every day, but it still looks and feels dry! What else can I do?
A: Using a topical moisturizer may not always be enough to maintain the skin’s moisture levels. For very dry skin, consider using a fatty acid supplement, which helps to nourish the skin. A fish oil supplement that provides fatty acids in their triglyceride form such as SEALICIOUS® or NUTRASEA® can be very effective at reducing the itchiness or roughness associated with dry skin. HYALURONIC ACID, a molecule that binds to moisture can be taken orally to increase the hydration of the skin. Regardless, ensure you are drinking adequate amounts of water; aim for at least 2 litres of water a day
